Policy updates unveiled for these popular Canadian institutions

1. Institution:  Conestoga College

Open dates for intake are January  25: Dates to be announced

Updates Regarding New Policy(PAL/Post-Graduation Work Permit): Students receive their Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and pay their first-semester tuition fee. Eligible students will receive a PAL request form from Conestoga. Conestoga initiates the PAL request to MCU Ontario, which reviews and approves it before forwarding it back to Conestoga for issuance to students. The PAL will be part of the documentation when the student applies for the study permit.

2. Institution: Niagara College - Niagara College - Toronto School of Management via GUS

3. Institution: Niagara College - Durham College

Open dates for intake are January  25: Open for Jan 2025 Intake

Updates Regarding New Policy(PAL/Post-Graduation Work Permit): No updates on PAL at the moment. The institution will directly contact students for their PAL.  

Durham is not affected by the PPP policy as it's a public institution.  OEL is not eligible to recruit students for Masters programs so the three-year PGWP doesn't apply.

4. Institution: Niagara College -  Fleming College? (Open for applications from recruiter partners worldwide, excluding Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kenya)

Open dates for intake are January  25: Dates to be announced, expected to open in June 2024

Updates Regarding New Policy(PAL/Post-Graduation Work Permit): PAL issuance to students has commenced, with notifications sent via OCAS. Subsequently, students are required to take necessary action. The process remains consistent: upon receiving the offer, students proceed to pay the first-semester fee, following which the PAL is issued.  Fleming is not affected by the PPP policy as it's a public institution.? OEL is not eligible to recruit students for Masters programs so the three-year PGWP doesn't apply.

5. Institution: Niagara College -  Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology? (Open for applications from recruiter partners worldwide, excluding India)

Open dates for intake are January  25: Open for Jan 2025 Intake (Check OCAS)

Updates Regarding New Policy(PAL/Post-Graduation Work Permit): PAL is being issued and uploaded in the IAS (International Applicant System) for Fall 2024 students who have paid their deposit and submitted the PAL Request Form. Students will be notified via email when their PAL is uploaded. It's recommended that students apply for a study permit promptly upon receiving their PAL. Georgian College is not affected by the PPP policy as it's a public institution.? OEL is not eligible to recruit students for Masters programs so the three-year PGWP doesn't apply.

6. Institution: Niagara College - Centennial College? (Open for applications from recruiter partners in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico)

Open dates for intake are January  25: Open for Jan 2025 Intake

Updates Regarding New Policy(PAL/Post-Graduation Work Permit): Apply online through the Centennial College portal and use BorderPass for study permit eligibility assessment. Select the program, apply, submit necessary documents, and undergo the BorderPass assessment Receive the student's Letter of Acceptance (LOA) or Deposit Letter and pay the fees Obtain the PAL for the student's visa application

Centennial is not affected by the PPP policy as it's a public institution.? OEL is not eligible to recruit students for Masters programs so the three-year PGWP doesn't apply.
