University of Ulsan – Vocal · Chorus · Conducting is offered through the university’s Department of Music, primarily within the Vocal Music (Voice Performance) major. Students receive systematic instruction in vocal technique, solo and ensemble repertoire, music theory and history, and foreign-language diction (such as Italian, German, French, and English), alongside continuous participation in chorus courses throughout the degree. The curriculum also includes chorus and conducting-related subjects, giving students foundational skills in ensemble leadership and rehearsal direction. Emphasis is placed on practical experience through regular concerts, recitals, opera and oratorio productions, and choral performances. Graduates are prepared for careers as solo vocalists, choir members, choir directors, music educators, and ensemble leaders, or for further graduate study in vocal performance or conducting.
