The Economics major is well-positioned in an ever-changing world. Students in the Economics major are introduced to the basic structure, theories, processes, and policies of economics. This introduction helps them learn how to make sound financial decisions, manage their personal finances, and better implement monetary policies for the benefit of society. Students will also gain the ability to understand complex and important issues, such as natural resources, tax rates, inflation, labor, etc., and build a sound investment portfolio. Graduates of the program may choose to continue their education at the master's level or embark on careers at international financial centers.
