The Traffic and Transportation program at Wuhan University of Technology is an undergraduate engineering major that focuses on the planning, analysis, design and management of traffic systems and transportation networks. The curriculum combines core subjects such as traffic flow theory, transportation planning, highway engineering, intelligent transportation systems, traffic safety and control, and transportation policy with practical skills in data analysis, modelling, simulation and field research. Students learn how to evaluate travel behaviour, optimise traffic operations, improve network efficiency and design sustainable transportation solutions for urban and regional mobility challenges. Through classroom study, laboratory exercises and real-world projects, the program prepares graduates for careers in traffic engineering, transportation planning, infrastructure consultancy, transit operations, logistics coordination and public sector agencies, as well as for further advanced study or research in transportation science and engineering.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements. It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
