This course develops expertise in nutrition which can be applied to the areas of health science, food and health promotion. Students who are passionate about improving human health through better nutrition and disease prevention, will gain an excellent grounding in both scientific and applied health nutrition on this course. By addressing how diet, lifestyle and physical activity contribute to health, wellbeing and the prevention of major preventable diseases, students of this course will develop specialist skills to work as a nutritionist or a food scientist.
