Program Description
The Bachelor (1st cycle degree) Degree in “Economics and Business” provides basic knowledge in four main areas - economics, business, quantitative methods and legal studies - that are required to analyze economic problems. In the third year, students can specialize in a specific topic through the choice of optional courses covering the four areas previously described, though more weigh is given to economics.Examples of such specializations are: “International markets and institutions”, “International firms and markets”, “Management”, and “Business administration”.The programme provides students with economics, managerial, accounting and legal skills, and it also provides specialist grounding for consultants who wish to use the acquired skills and knowledge in the workplace. The skills acquired in the different learning areas will allow making connections and obtaining elements useful to economic problem-solving.Some courses may be delivered in English. At the successful completion of the programme, the degree in “Economics and Business” is awarded.
