English for Academic Purposes prepares international students for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Charles Darwin University. English for Academic Purposes is designed for students who have met the academic requirements of their program but have not yet met the English language requirements. The course builds both English Language skills and the academic skills students need to succeed at the university.
This course is delivered in partnership with UP Education, whose approach fulfills the commitment to learning by prioritising students, delivering high-quality teaching, upholding strict academic standards and helping students to be well-rounded.

Entry Requirements
A minimum overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5; In order to gain admission to English for Academic Purposes 4 potential students must meet the academic requirements of their primary degree program and one of the English Language requirements listed. Students must be at least 17 years old when they commence the program.
