Completing the Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at CQUniversity will equip you with valuable skills to enable you to work with people of all ages who have communication or swallowing difficulties. Your education and training will include a broad range of disciplines such as psychology, medical sciences and linguistics and phonetics, designed to ensure you graduate work-ready.

Completing placements in a variety of practice settings during your studies will enable you to gain valuable practical experience before you enter the workforce. This includes being part of a multidisciplinary team at the purpose-built Allied Health Clinic at CQUniversity Rockhampton where you will learn alongside students from other disciplines including occupational therapy, physiotherapy and oral health.

Entry Requirements

Year 12 from ISC, CBSE, West Bengal and Maharashtra State Board : 60% in 4 academic subjects. Year 12 from other Boards : 65% in 4 academic subjects IELTS (No Score Less Than) : Speaking and Listening 8, Reading and Writing 7

Remarks

It is recommended that students have had at least one class in a biological science during high school. Note: Fees for 2020 intake is yet to be declared.
