The Master of Commerce provides pre-doctoral training for high-achieving students who intend to pursue a Monash PhD. The course comprises advanced coursework and research methodology training designed to prepare you to undertake deep and effective doctoral research when you transition to the PhD. During the course, you will design and undertake independent research in your specialisation, working closely with a supervisor who will provide individual guidance and academic advice.

Entry Requirements
An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline*. A distinction grade average (70%) or above for four units (24 points) in a relevant discipline* at level three is required.

*Relevant disciplines include: Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Econometrics and Business Statistics, Health Economics, Management, Marketing and related cognate disciplines including Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology and other Social Sciences|Applicants are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) first. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview with a panel constituted by the Course Coordinator. Admission is a competitive process.
