The Bachelor of Health, Physical Education and Sport (Secondary) has been designed to equip you with the professional knowledge and practical skills you need to teach in diverse school settings.
Utilising a strong core curriculum with an explicit focus on teaching practice, and you will learn to use a range of teaching strategies that engage your students' needs, use assessment and data to inform practice, and use critical reflection to impact the future of your classroom.
Throughout this degree, you will:
complete over 80 days of teaching practice to gain real-world experience and graduate classroom-ready
study three teaching methods, for health, physical education, and one elective subject area
gain sports coaching experience
have the option to undertake accelerated learning to complete your degree in 3.5 years.

Remarks
Prerequisites: VCE Units 1 and 2: satisfactory completion in two units (any study combination) of any Mathematics or Units 3 and 4: any Mathematics; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL; Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in one of Biology, Chemistry, Maths: Mathematical Methods, Maths: Specialist Mathematics, Physical Education or Physics.
