Be involved in projects like designing new land developments or new roads, supporting mine operations, or preparing topographical maps using highly accurate positioning systems and drones. Work on preparations for building of a new tunnel or mapping of flood areas for disaster preparedness.

Globally, your work as a surveyor could see you involved in monitoring earthquake impacts, mapping the ocean floor. Studying Earth’s gravity, determining satellite orbits, or monitoring and mapping environmental changes via satellite data.
