This industry-relevant postgraduate qualification is for students who have already completed a three-year bachelor’s degree and would like to increase their employment prospects with a teaching qualification specialising in primary education.
The curriculum is practical in nature and is solely focused on the education of children from Reception to Year Six. Practical learning is a major component and you will complete 60 days of professional experience placements, starting in the first year of study.
The Primary specialisation is taught at the Magill campus only.

Entry Requirements
A 3-years Bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution with a minimum GPA of 4.0, noting that entry is competitive and based on academic merit; and one year of full-time equivalent study, as part of their Bachelor degree or equivalent, relevant to one or more learning areas of the primary school curriculum (Arts, English, Health and Physical Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Languages, Mathematics, Science, Technologies), which includes a minimum half a year of full-time equivalent study relevant to one of the learning areas of the primary school curriculum. TOEFL (No Score Less Than) : Reading 18, Writing 18 PTE (No Score Less Than) : Reading 50, Writing 50
