In the Bachelor of Public Health component, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of public health principles and practices, focusing on the social determinants of health. This program blends health-specific studies with professional and scientific disciplines, allowing you to major in Indigenous Health, Health Promotion, Population Health, Global Health, or Human Structure and Function, as well as a Flexible Major allowing you to tailor your own pathway. This innovative and interactive approach ensures you are well-prepared to address real-world health challenges and reduce health disparities.
The Bachelor of International Studies component complements your public health education by immersing you in another language and culture. You can major in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, or Spanish, enhancing your cultural competency and cross-cultural communication skills. This component includes up to a year of study abroad, providing you with firsthand insight into global health systems and practices.
