Founded in 2020, the Music Performance is a department of the School of Culture and Creativity. The programme focuses on training musicians, providing opportunities for them to develop a variety of professional skills and understandings across a range of practical and theoretical aspects of music.
A four-year comprehensive study provides students with advanced skills and deep knowledge of instrumental playing and helps them become creative graduates with an international outlook and extensive skill sets.
The programme cultivates future professionals and leaders in the cultural and creative industries in China and the world. These leaders also develop social consciousness and personal skills in a global environment that meet the market demands. These characteristics contribute to the future success of UIC’s graduates.

Entry Requirements
Minimum average score of 75% in any of the following at Standard XII awarded by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or state boards: ISC/HSC. And also obtaining at least 75% in Grade 12 English in SSC/ ISC/ All-India/ HSC/ Pre-University Certificate.
