The program emphasizes a broad foundation in mathematics, natural sciences and core engineering principles while also providing specialized knowledge in underground and surface mining technologies, rock mechanics, mine design, ventilation and safety engineering. Students study theoretical and applied subjects that equip them with the ability to plan, design, manage and innovate in mining operations and related fields. Practical training and research opportunities are integrated to develop skills in problem-solving, technical analysis and engineering project implementation. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree and are prepared for roles in mine planning, production management, safety supervision, and further academic or professional study in mining and resource industries.
