Food
CUC has two student canteens, which offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast are usually about 1 RMB to 3RMB, for lunch and dinner, the costs are about 5 RMB to 10 RMB. With their student card, foreign students can go to the second floor above the supermarket to apply for a canteen card.

CUC also has three Chinese restaurants, which cater different flavors. There are also a number of cafes on campus, where students can have western food.

Housing
International students’ dormitory is at International Center on campus. International Center does not accept reservation. Students may apply for rooms in person after registration at International Students’ Office with Accommodation Form.

You can also rent an apartment off campus. You must report and register your address within 24 hours after your moving-in at local police station and get Temporary Accommodation Registration. You do not need to register when you are temporarily living in a hotel.

For Communication University of China (CUC) in Beijing, your closest major airport is Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), with travel options including airport pickup (if arranged), taxis (approx. 40-60 CNY), and likely public transport like subway/bus (not detailed in snippets). Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) is further south, while the now-less-used Nanyuan Airport (NAY) is closer but mainly domestic. 

• University Pickup: CUC offers pick-up for groups if notified 3 days in advance; individuals can inquire via email.
• Taxi: A common option for individuals, costing around 60 CNY (cash needed).
• Public Transport: Expect a combination of airport express trains/buses and the Beijing subway to reach the university area (mentioning specific lines like Line 1/Batong Line to nearby stations like Gaobeidian or Shuangjing would be helpful). 

• Distance: PKX is significantly further south (around 46 km) than PEK, so expect longer travel times and higher taxi fares.
• Options: Similar to PEK, taxis and public transport (likely Daxing Airport Express + Subway) are available.
