The Surveying and Mapping discipline focuses on the science and engineering of acquiring, processing, analyzing and managing spatial information about the Earth’s surface, structures, and environment. It integrates traditional geodetic measurement, modern remote sensing, photogrammetry, GNSS/GPS positioning, geographic information systems (GIS), digital mapping, and spatial data technologies. This program cultivates professionals capable of precise spatial measurement, data modeling, and application of spatial information systems in infrastructure, environmental monitoring, resource management, and national surveying projects.
