The Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) is a four‑year undergraduate program designed to develop high‑level engineering and technical professionals who can contribute to the global aviation and aerospace industry. Taught in English (for international students) and grounded in a strong foundation of mathematics, physics, mechanics and engineering principles, the curriculum equips students with comprehensive knowledge of aircraft design, manufacturing, maintenance and management, as well as essential theories in aerodynamics, flight mechanics, structural analysis and propulsion systems. The program blends general basic courses, specialized fundamental and branch courses, and practical training, ensuring students master core areas such as engineering mechanics, aerodynamics, aircraft structural design, avionics, control systems and materials science, alongside complementary skills like engineering graphics and computer programming. Through this multidisciplinary training, graduates gain the theoretical understanding and hands‑on capabilities necessary to innovate and solve complex problems in aircraft engineering and related sectors of the aerospace field. Upon successful completion, students are awarded a Bachelor of Engineering degree, prepared for careers in aerospace industries or further advanced studies.
