The Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) is a four‑year Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) program designed to train technically skilled, innovative and internationally competitive engineers with a solid grasp of fundamental theories and practical abilities in mechanical engineering. As one of NUAA’s earliest and flagship disciplines rooted in its historical strengths in aviation machinery and manufacturing, the program combines core engineering science—such as mechanics, materials, thermodynamics, control and design—with modern elements like automation and intelligent manufacturing, preparing students to engage in research, design, manufacture, testing, control and management of mechanical and electromechanical systems across multiple sectors. Accredited and recognized for its high teaching and research standards, the curriculum includes lectures, lab sessions, design projects and problem‑solving tasks to build analytical and practical skills, and it is structured to develop broad expertise in mechanical systems while also fostering teamwork, innovation and professional ethics. Graduates are equipped for careers in aerospace, automotive, robotics, manufacturing and related engineering fields, or for further advanced study. The program is also available in English for international students at similar tuition rates as other engineering degrees at NUAA.
