1.Notice about the dorm
a. Entrances, walkways, stairs, doors and other public parts of the dormitory must be kept clear and open; bicycles, motorcycles and goods are not permitted.
b. Students should pay attention to use electricity safely.Electric stove, electric sticks, electric glass and other electric appliances are prohibited to be used.Pulling in electrical wiring, damaging the power system of the dormitory and embezzling the public electricity are prohibited. Students who violate the rules shall be penalized or punished accordingly.
c. Students should comply with routine of the day strictly, and turn off the lights at bedtime. Students who can not get to the dormitory in time for special reason should register with effective credential.
d. Gambling, alcoholism, drug abuse, theft, assault and other violations of Chinese laws and school disciplines are prohibited.
e. Students should keep quiet in dormitory.
No making noise. When using audio, computers, etc., he/she should not interfere with others as a precondition.
f. Dormitory facilities that are broken or unable to be used should be registered for repair in the dormitory management office.
Generally the normal damages will be repaired, but students should compensate all losses resulted from improper use of windows , doors, furniture, lighting and other facilities.
Notice board: There will be an update of the important notifications from the International Student Office. Please pay close attention to the information on notice boards so as not to miss any important information.
2. Dormitory
Students in our school can choose to live in campus dormitory or rent a room outside the campus.
Students who rent a room outside the campus must pay attention to his/her own personnel and property safety.
(1)Dormitory in University Town Campus
Types and facilities
Overview: the 7-storey apartment of C15 is specially for international students in South campus.
There are two types of rooms: double room and quadruple room. Most of them are double rooms.
Facilities: A bathroom, a washroom, a balcony, an air conditioner and a fan are in each room. Each student has a bed, a desk, a chair, a closet and a locker in the room.
Hot water: The dormitory supplies hot water through the water heater.
Network: Each room has network ports.
Students who need to access the internet can fill in a network application form from the student office and hand in to the network center (on the first floor of D2).
Public facilities (Facilities of Kitchen and Laundry)
Kitchen: There are public kitchens on the second and third floor of the dormitory.
A fridge, a microwave and a disinfection cabinet are available for students there.
Laundry: There are washing machines in the first, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh floor.
They are available for students who pay ￥3.00 (coin) each time.
Others: The dormitory also provides self-study room ,ping-pong room and activity room. These rooms are available for students who have registered in the dormitory management office before use.
Charging standard: There are two types of rooms: Double room costs 8000 Yuan per schooling year (10 months).
And quadruple room costs 3500 Yuan per schooling year (10 months). Professional students are required to pay one-year fee for dormitory before checking in. And language students should pay according to his/her actual situation.
(2)Dormitory in Wushan Campus:
Types and facilities
Overview: West One and West Five（south side） are international students’ dormitory, which are near a bank, canteens and stores.
There are three types of rooms: single room, double room and triple room.
Facilities: Each room has a bathroom, a washroom, a balcony, an air conditioner, a fan ,a TV set, a water dispenser and network ports. Each student will have a bed, a desk, a chair, a closet and bedding.
Hot water: Hot water for free .
Network: Each room in north campus has network port; students who need to access the net can contact the network administrator of each dormitory.
Public facilities (Facilities of Kitchen and Laundry)
Kitchen: West One and West Five are equipped with a public kitchen including a refrigerator; a microwave and electromagnetic oven.They are available for students.
Laundry: There are laundries on the first floor in West One and West Five. They are available for students who pay ￥3.00 (coin) each time.
Others: West One also provides ping-pong room and activity room. These rooms are available for students who have registered in the dormitory management office before use.
Charging standard: There are three types of rooms: single room, double room and triple room; most of them are double rooms.
Single room costs 15000 Yuan per capita per schooling year; double room costs 9800 Yuan per capita per schooling year;
quadruple room costs 8000 Yuan per capita per schooling year(all with air conditioners).
A small number of single rooms without air conditioners cost 7500 Yuan per capita per schooling year
and double rooms cost 6000 Yuan per capita per schooling year.
Professional students are required to pay one-year fee for dormitory before checking in. And language students should pay according to their actual situation.
