The Logistics Engineering and Management program at Wuhan University of Technology is an interdisciplinary undergraduate major that blends engineering principles with business and management skills to optimise the design, operation and control of logistics and supply chain systems. The curriculum covers core topics such as logistics system planning, transportation and distribution, inventory control, supply chain management, warehousing technology, information systems and operations research, supported by practical training in modelling, simulation, data analysis and logistics software. Students learn how to apply quantitative methods and engineering tools to analyse complex logistics networks, improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service quality in global and domestic supply chains. Emphasising both technical competence and managerial insight, the program prepares graduates for careers in logistics and supply chain planning, transportation and freight operations, procurement and inventory management, consulting and logistics information systems, as well as for further advanced study in logistics, industrial engineering and related fields.
