The Public Management program at Wuhan University of Technology is an undergraduate social science major that prepares students to understand and engage with the organisation, administration and governance of public institutions and social services. The curriculum covers core topics such as public administration theory, public policy analysis, government and non-profit management, organisational behaviour, public finance and administrative law, combining classroom study with practical case analysis and research methods. Students learn how public organisations operate, how policies are developed and evaluated, and how effective leadership and ethical decision-making contribute to social outcomes. Emphasising analytical thinking, communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, the program equips graduates for careers in government agencies, public sector organisations, non-profit institutions, community development and policy research, as well as for further study in public administration, public policy or related fields.
