The Systems Engineering program at Wuhan University of Technology is an interdisciplinary engineering major focused on the analysis, design, integration and optimisation of complex systems that involve people, processes, information and technology. Drawing on principles from systems theory, engineering management, control science, information science and operations research, the curriculum teaches students how to model, evaluate and improve large-scale engineering and organisational systems across industries such as manufacturing, transportation, energy, logistics and communications. Students study core topics including systems modelling and simulation, decision-making and optimisation, risk and reliability analysis, project management and systems integration, alongside project-based learning and real-world case studies. Emphasising both theoretical understanding and practical problem-solving skills, the program prepares graduates for careers in systems analysis, process improvement, project and operations management, systems consulting and interdisciplinary research, as well as for advanced study in systems science, engineering management and related fields.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements. It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
