The Systems Science program at Wuhan University of Technology is an interdisciplinary academic major that focuses on understanding, modelling and managing complex systems that involve interactions among people, technology, organisations and the environment. Drawing from principles of systems theory, mathematics, control science, information science and decision analysis, the curriculum teaches students how to analyse dynamic behaviours, structure problem-solving frameworks, design integrated solutions and optimise performance in systems ranging from engineering and logistics to organisational and socio-economic contexts. Through coursework in systems modelling, simulation, optimisation, risk and reliability analysis, and real-world case studies, students develop strong analytical, critical thinking and interdisciplinary research skills. Graduates are prepared for careers in systems analysis, operations research, project and process management, consulting, systems integration and strategic planning, as well as for further advanced study in systems science, engineering management and related interdisciplinary fields.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements. It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
