This study investigates various forms of seawater movement, as well as the formation, distribution, and variation patterns and mechanisms of various physical fields in the ocean caused by the dynamic and thermodynamic processes of the ocean.
Main research areas: multi-scale dynamic processes of the ocean, ocean color remote sensing and multi-scale environmental change, regional environmental oceanography and ocean observation technology, ocean numerical simulation and physical-ecological coupling processes, air-sea interaction and climate change, weather and climate dynamics, etc.
