Through interdisciplinary collaboration and technological innovation, we can overcome the limitations of single disciplines in climate change research, solve major scientific problems in global change and climate governance, and serve the national "carbon neutrality" strategy and the goal of building a maritime power.
Main research areas: climate change adaptation and response, extreme weather and climate mechanisms and prediction, weather and climate system observation, simulation and forecasting, environmental and climate risks and climate finance, etc.
