Fluid Machinery and Engineering is a specialized engineering field that focuses on the design, analysis, operation, and maintenance of machines that move or control fluids, such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and hydraulic systems. When combined with Business Administration, the program also emphasizes management, industrial operations, and strategic decision-making in engineering-based industries. Students gain knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and machinery performance while also developing skills in project management, operations management, technology management, and industrial economics. This interdisciplinary approach prepares graduates to manage engineering projects, oversee machinery systems, and lead operations in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, water resources, and heavy equipment industries.
