The goal of the Master Program in Chinese Economy at the School of Economics is to provide overseas students with two years of comprehensive analytical training focused on economic development in China, a platform to develop critical thinking skills and solid knowledge necessary to become experts at analyzing economy and policies. After graduation, graduates are expected to be able to work in various organizations, such as multinational corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, or academic units around the world.

All Core Courses offered in this program are taught in English by qualified faculty from the School of Economics at Zhejiang University. Faculty members have a diverse background and most of them obtained their Ph.D. degree from the most prestigious academic institutions in the world and have impressive lists of publications and academic achievements.

Each student in the program conducts research in his/her area of particular interest relating to Chinese economy under the guidance of a faculty member in the School of Economics at Zhejiang University.
