At the Bartók Béla Faculty of Music of the University of Miskolc the academic staff consists of artist-teachers, graduates of music academy with extensive experience. Most of them also hold a doctorate in performing arts (DLA). The faculty offers you the opportunity to perform in symphonic, string and wind orchestras, early music, guitar and percussion ensembles as well as in choirs.

B2 Level English is Required - MOI is Accepted. The entrance examination consists of four stages. First, applicants undergo eligibility screening, where those without a high school final examination certificate or the required medical documents are eliminated. Next, document evaluation is conducted, with a maximum of 50 points awarded based on academic results, English proficiency (if available), a motivation letter, and a CV. This is followed by a 15–20 minute online entrance examination focused on motivation and spoken language skills, carrying up to 50 points. In the final assessment, scores from both stages are combined, and applicants who achieve at least 70 out of 100 points are admitted to the programme.
