The educational and research programme of the doctoral school covers three large areas: basic engineering sciences, designing objects (machines and machine elements) and material sciences and materials processing technologies, including production processes and production systems. Each area involves the development and theoretical analysis of models describing technological processes, the design of processes and production systems using modern methods, and the creative application and development of computer-aided engineering techniques.
