The MA in Choral Conducting at the University of Pécs is a two-year, English-taught postgraduate program designed to develop advanced skills in leading choirs and vocal ensembles. The curriculum combines practical conducting, rehearsal techniques, vocal pedagogy, and score analysis with studies in music theory, history, and repertoire across classical and contemporary choral works. Students gain hands-on experience directing ensembles, refining their interpretive and leadership abilities, while also exploring aspects of choral education and management. Graduates are prepared for professional careers as choral conductors, music educators, or artistic directors, equipped with both the technical expertise and artistic sensitivity needed to lead vocal ensembles at a high level.
