The MA in Classical Music Performance (Piano) at the University of Pécs is a two‑year, English‑taught master’s program offered by the Faculty of Music and Visual Arts that focuses on developing advanced performance skills and artistic excellence at the highest professional level. The curriculum centers on intensive one‑on‑one piano instruction, regular solo and ensemble performance opportunities, and deep engagement with repertoire spanning major historical periods. Alongside instrumental practice, students participate in chamber music, orchestra/chorus experiences, and complementary studies in music history, analysis, and professional practice, all designed to refine technical mastery, stylistic understanding, and expressive interpretive abilities. Graduates are prepared for careers as professional pianists, ensemble musicians, or music educators, equipped with both virtuosic performance capabilities and a solid theoretical foundation.
