This general engineering year gives students exposure to all the different types of engineering that are on offer and equips them with the fundamentals of engineering. It will help to make an informed choice of what field of engineering to enter based on aptitude and interest. On successful completion of Year 1, students will transfer into Year 2 of the programme of their choice, subject to space availability.
