This course is designed to prepare graduates to become efficient managers in the tourism industry. Tourism specific modules will develop an understanding of the complex issues facing a contemporary national and international tourism industry, while business and management modules will develop critical transferable skills in business, marketing, management, finance and data analysis.
There is also a work placement module in year two. Students will understand the culture driving the tourism industry in three of the main European countries (France, Spain and Germany) and learn the basics of these three languages with no prior language experience required.
