Aircraft systems engineering is the field of study relating to the maintenance, safety, and airworthiness of aircraft. Aircraft system engineers support the development of onboard flight systems, including flight controls. Landing gear, electrical power, hydraulics, and avionics systems. The 3-year programme follows a practical hands-on approach to produce graduates who have the theoretical and practical know how to work within the evolving aerospace and maintenance repair (MRO) industries.
