Chemical Engineering and Chemical Engineers provide the leading-edge solutions to the society’s needs: we need efficient and clean technologies for energy transformation, technologically advanced materials, better medicines, efficient food production techniques, a clean environment, a better utilization of the natural resources. Chemical Engineering plays a pivotal role because all these challenges have a common denominator: they involve chemical processes. Chemical Engineers are the "engineers of chemistry": by making use of chemistry, physics and mathematics they describe the chemical processes from the molecular level to the macroscale (chemical plant), and design, operate, and control all processes that produce and/or transform materials and energy.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements.
It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
Extra Notes
The total annual amount (given by the sum of all contributions due) is divided into 2 instalments (there are no further instalments of the contribution): 1st instalment of 890.04 € (except in cases where the student can request a reduction, pursuant to the Budget Law 2017 as subsequently amended and supplemented - see below); 2nd variable instalment by which the student pays the remaining amount.
The annual all-inclusive contribution is equal to €3,726.00. This amount, however, must be fully paid only by a limited number of students; in most cases, there is the possibility of financial aid that allows to reduce the contribution of a significant amount, as explained below.
In case of withdrawal from studies or transfer to another University for the 2025/2026 academic year, the first instalment is not due. If you decide to withdraw or move after having already paid it, you will also be required to pay any second instalment.
Please note that to submit your Study Plan you must have already paid the first instalment.
*NOTE : The program is eligible for a 100% tuition scholarship and a €9,000 annual stipend.
