The course trains graduates capable of performing managerial and coordination functions in the fields of design, development, management and maintenance of information systems in medicine, biology and healthcare, with particular attention to complex biomedical software oriented to scientific and technological innovation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, to complex information systems for the management of clinical and bioinformatics databases, to software for the processing of medical and biological data in clinical decision support systems, to healthcare information systems with heterogeneous and complex architectures, to visual interfaces for bioinformatics.
The Master's Degree in Medical Bioinformatics - Medical Bioinformatics therefore provides the multi- and inter-disciplinary theoretical, methodological and technological bases needed to address the problems related to the design, analysis and development of complex intelligent systems in the field of bioinformatics and medical informatics.
