The Master's Program fosters students' interdisciplinary knowledge across natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, and further develops students' abilities to flexibly apply broad wisdom underpinned by engineering disciplines centered around information engineering and data science. Moreover, on the basis of such knowledge and abilities, academic systemization is aimed at by delivering novel solutions based on universal values and principles to diverse issues arising in the realization of an advanced information society. Extensive research areas are covered, including information and communication engineering, artificial intelligence, social systems engineering, technology management, mathematical statistics, medical engineering, risk management, and innovation science. In the course of education and research, this program will produce competent people who will bear the future of the advanced information society.
