Doctoral Program: From the nano to macro levels, we focus on the integrated science of machinery, appliances, materials, and structures. We also develop manufacturing technology that has less impact on the environment and assess the safety and stability of newly developed apparatuses and applications. Moreover, in an interdisciplinary effort, we apply nanotechnology in the medical field and promote the development of nanomedicine based on biomechanics. From this integrated science perspective, we aim to nurture individuals to be able to advance the next-generation core technology in the interest of society as a whole.
