Doctoral Program: Our education and research focus on three ﬁelds which evolve the contents of the master's program: biomedical engineering, which encompasses visualization of biological information and biomechanics; assistive device engineering, which covers systems for assisting and expanding human functions through the use of mechatronics devices and other technology for measurement and control as well as sophisticated information systems; and life support science as a means to assist senior citizens and physically disabled persons to be more independent in their daily lives and help maintain and improve their health.
