Sociology is the study of how social surroundings influence and are influenced by human behavior and consciousness.
Sociologists critically question social reality to understand and improve social phenomena. Sociology covers all aspects
of life, from personal relationships to global issues. Our curriculum aims to foster intellectual curiosity and critical
interest in human society. By teaching students how to analyze and comprehend our complex world with sociological
theory and methodology, we help students understand the various dimensions of modern society as well as their
relation to social structure and change. This enables our students to develop skills to propose solutions for an inclusive and sustainable society.
