In Malaysia’s journey of nation building, we have learned that developing human capital is one of the key factors that contribute towards national progress, social development and economic growth. In this regard, we warmly support the ACD pillar on education and human resource development being given special emphasis. As a co-prime mover of the education and human resource development pillar, Malaysia reaffirms our commitment to developing the Asia e University into a major educational platform which will enhance people-to-people connectivity among the ACD Member States.

Since its beginning in 2008, AeU has enrolled around 2350 international students from 60 countries, and has established partnerships in 25 countries. Through the AeU platform, institutions of higher learning in Asia will be able to leverage on each others’ resources and facilities. And via AeU Open and Distance Learning programmes, students from across the ACD Member States will be able to enjoy high quality, affordable, accessible and relevant courses.

Accommodation

AeU provides accommodation for full-time international students seeking safe, convenient, and high quality housing in Subang Jaya. We are partnered with multiple student accommodation providers around Subang Jaya. So, if you’re looking for an apartment / condominium that you can share with friends, we will offer you the best choice of location and room type. Located just 2 km from campus, the units consist of three rooms that is equipped with basic furniture. Each room is furnished with a bed, a mattress, study desk, a chair, cupboard, fan and air-conditioner.

Shared equipment such as electric kettle and refrigerator to each residential block will be provided for students’ convenience. The student accommodation provider will monitor the units from time to time to make sure that the students’ living space is safe and sound to suit their comfort. Having an office at the units’ residential area, the accommodation provider are easy to reached by the students should they need assistance or seek immediate attention that concerns the units’ safety and well being.

Notes

Asia e University (AeU) in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, is best accessed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), located approximately 45-55 km away. The fastest transport options include taking the KLIA Ekspres train to KL Sentral followed by a LRT/taxi, or directly booking a Grab/taxi, taking about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.

Transportation Options from KUL Airport to AeU (Subang Jaya):

Grab/Taxi: The most direct method is taking a Grab (preferred ride-hailing app) or a licensed airport taxi, taking roughly 45–60 minutes, with costs ranging from RM 60-90.
Train (KLIA Ekspres + LRT):
1. Take the KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit from the airport to KL Sentral Station (approx. 30-40 mins).
2. Transfer to the LRT Kelana Jaya Line (towards Putra Heights) and exit at SS15 or USJ 7 Station, which are close to the campus, based on information from Rome2Rio and general transportation knowledge of the area.
Bus: Alternatively, express bus services run from the airport to KL Sentral, which can then be followed by LRT.
