Raffles University, initially known as Raffles University Iskandar, was established by Raffles Iskandar Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture between Raffles Education Corporation Limited and Education Iskandar Sdn Bhd (EISB), a member of the Iskandar Investment Group. Notably, the university received formal approval from Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on 31st October 2011.

Situated in southeast Malaysia, in Mendini, Iskandar, Raffles University has achieved a successful 4-star QS rating, with 5-stars in Employability, Teaching, Online Learning, and Inclusiveness categories. Raffles University continues to strive for excellence in delivering high-quality education and providing an enriching learning experience for our students. We diligently fulfil accreditation requirements set by authorized bodies to ensure our programmes meet the highest standards, providing students with globally recognized qualifications for future success.

Raffles University does not provide onsite hostel. However, Raffles University recommend 2 serviced accommodation nearby the RU Medini Campus for students to choose based on their preference.

The Raffles University Centre of Professional Development (RUCPD) recently conducted internship interviews for Singapore placements. These interviews were distinctive as they were carried out by a panel representing their consortium.

The session began with an informative introduction, shedding light on the consortium itself, its extensive business footprint, and the available positions. They also provided a comprehensive overview of the criteria they seek in potential candidates.

Their commitment to facilitating their business associates with a well-structured internship program was emphasized throughout the interviews. They priorities ensuring the quality and accountability of these internships. In line with this, they proudly align ourselves with TalentCorp’s Mya SEAN program, which further underlines their dedication to fostering meaningful internship experiences that benefit both students and businesses alike.

The panel interviews were designed to carefully match students with valuable opportunities in Singapore’s dynamic job market, contributing to their personal and professional growth while meeting the needs of our consortium and the larger business community.
