Entry Requirements

A recognized Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or

A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment process, or

A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant field may be accepted.

Course structure and duration

To qualify for the award of Graduate Certificate of Information Technology students must complete 100 credit points comprising:

Four core units (50 credit points)
One (1) specialisation (50 credit points) consisting of:
- Two (2) core units (25 credit points)
- Two (2) technology projects (25 credit points)

The duration of study is 1 year full-time. Students will undergo two long semesters of 9 weeks and two short semesters of 6 weeks. Each unit of study has a minimum 6 hours of class contact time per week or its equivalence.
