With the emergence of cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence, data science has become a key fourth generation profession. The Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science has been developed to prepare aspiring Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Artificial Intelligence specialists to take advantage of the growing business and employment opportunities in these fields. The Diploma is designed to enable learners to gain skills in maths, statistics and programming in R, Python and SQL. The Diploma also provides a sound basis for a progression to Masters Degrees in a number of relevant disciplines.

Throughout the two years, learners will engage with practical case studies, research projects, leadership challenges, and interactive learning experiences that develop both theoretical insight and applied competence, enabling them to adapt and innovate within dynamic health and social care environments.

Remarks

Students will be interviewed. IELTS waiver possible on the basis of MOI. After completing Levels 7 Post Graduate Diploma, students will have the option to progress to a MS Data Science & AI degree at the European Global Institute of Innovation & Technology, Malta. The first year of the PG Diploma program will be delivered face-to-face, while the second year of the Master’s program will be completed online.
