The Department of Webtoon at Dongseo University was established to foster creative talents in the cultural content industry, which is rapidly emerging in line with the trend of the convergence and integration era of the 4th industrial revolution. Based on humanities knowledge, the Department of Webtoon was established to equip students with storytelling and planning skills, and based on artistic knowledge, creativity, expressive ability, and field practice projects, and to provide a diverse and systematic practical curriculum centered on webtoon production, story, character design, and concept illustration, so that they can expand their range of career options in the global cultural content field.
