The Department of Industrial Design will put all its efforts into fostering such design leaders for the future. Our department will establish a new design paradigm with a unique fusion design specialization program that differs from that of other universities. We will endeavor to be the driving force behind developments in our local community. Through concentrated education focused on the knowledge and expertise that are needed in the field, our department will be dedicated to providing highly qualified personnel for enterprises. Furthermore, through reforms in the education system and provision of high quality education with integration and innovation, we hope to create a new chapter in Korean design history. Our department will serve as both a venue and a channel through which Korean design can be made known in the intemational design field. In addition, as a central hub for different design networks all over the world, we will do everything to be able to lead the evolution of the design education of the future.
