The department of Polymer-Nano Science and Technology is a multidisciplinary department created by the need of professionals in the field of advanced organic and nanomaterials in 1993. We deals with the scientific and engineering aspects of synthesis, structure, properties, processing and applications of polymers. We are dedicated to creating professionals and next generation of leaders in polymer and nanomaterials. We offer both Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in Polymer-Nano with a broad spectrum of interests including biotechnology, nanotechnology, information technology and energy technology. Despite short history, we stand the best polymer departments in the nation. The department of Polymer-Nano Science and Technology was established with the aim of not only becoming a model for the development of Korea's universities but also playing a pivotal role in leading Chonbuk National University. We also aim to provide quality education in the field of polymer and nano science, conducting basic and translational research and become a world leading department. We have already surpassed the our goal in 2003 and are striving to educate and research with passion and make every effort to stay abreast of the world's premier department.
