If you complete all the liberal arts and major courses required in the one years of premedical course, you will enter a five-year course of veterinary medicine. The veterinary course provides education to study the overall medical field for animals and their related theories and practical skills, produce excellent professionals in the veterinary field, and cultivate competent intellectuals who can contribute to improving the national competitive power according to the trend flow. Since our university's veterinary courses are subdivided into basic, preventive, and clinical fields, the scope of the courses to be completed is wide and specialized, which is very advantageous to acquire 190 credits or more. After completing five years of veterinary science (a total of six years of course), including one years of veterinary arts, you will receive a veterinarian license if you pass the National Veterinary Examination. After obtaining a veterinarian license and graduating, you can open a hospital or go to graduate school to enter academic and related life science research institutes. According to the importance of the veterinary field, the demand for professionals in this field is increasing very much.
