The Master’s in Maritime Law is an advanced postgraduate program that focuses on the legal principles and regulations governing international shipping, maritime commerce, marine resources, and ocean-related activities. The program examines key areas such as admiralty law, carriage of goods by sea, marine insurance, maritime safety and security, environmental protection, port regulations, and international maritime conventions. Students develop a thorough understanding of the legal frameworks that regulate global shipping and trade while strengthening their skills in legal research, analysis, dispute resolution, and policy interpretation. The curriculum often incorporates case studies and contemporary issues in international maritime law, preparing graduates for careers in maritime legal practice, shipping companies, port authorities, international organizations, and government regulatory agencies.
